Understanding Title I
Title I is a federal education program designed to provide additional support and resources to help all students succeed academically. Through Title I funding, schools identify student and school needs, develop plans to address areas for improvement, and provide extra resources and support.
An important part of Title I is partnering with families. Parents and guardians have opportunities to be involved in their child’s education, learn about school programs, and access information about teacher qualifications. Title I funds are used to enhance—not replace—the resources already provided by state and local funding.

Running Club starts next week!
Running Club will begin next Wednesday and run through October 21st. We’ll meet at 3:30 PM every Wednesday, and students can run as many laps as they’d like before heading home! We’ll record each student’s laps throughout the program and celebrate their accomplishments at the end of October with a bracelet and a charm for each milestone they reach!
All students must be picked up by 4:30 PM at the very latest, though we anticipate most students being done running well before then.
We will need lots of parent volunteers to help make Running Club possible! If your child is wanting to participate, we would greatly appreciate your help whenever you’re available. You don’t need to commit to every week—even volunteering for a day or two would be a huge help!

You don’t have to be a PTA member to attend—we’d love to have you there!
* Slow to 20 MPH in a School Zone when lights are on.
* Prior to entering school zone, be aware of walking, biking students making their way to school.
* Drivers must come to a complete stop and remain stopped for any person occupying a school crosswalk — regardless of which side of the road the pedestrian is on. Do not proceed until student and/or crossing guard is on the sidewalk.
* Know the bus stops in your neighborhood. Drive slowly when approaching a bus during pick up and drop off.
* Stop! Do not pass if bus Stop Arm is out!
Due to our yearbooks selling out so quickly this year, we’re excited to offer one more opportunity for families who would still like to purchase a copy!
Parents can now order this year’s yearbook online and have it shipped directly to their home. Please note that shipping costs will apply, but we’re happy there’s still a way for families to get a yearbook if they missed out during our initial sale.

We are so excited for Field Day tomorrow! Please dress for the weather as we will be outside. The fields may be way so it definitely wouldn’t hurt to send an extra pair of clothes in case your child gets wet. We also NEED parent help! If you have a Kindergartener, please work with your child’s teachers to make sure their class is covered (sign up genius isn’t up to date for K). Here is the link to sign up for all others:

The Utah Food Bank will be here after school TODAY (5/14/26). If you'd like to grab a bag of food, please stop by.
Yearbooks will be available for $15 each and will be sold on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
This will be the ONLY opportunity to purchase a yearbook if you did not pre-order one back in March.
