Walk and Roll to school day is Wednesday, October 4th.
To give every student the chance to walk or bike to school we encourage families that drive to drop students off at the church on 400 North.
Buses will also drop students off at the church on 400 North. Students who do not want to walk may stay on the bus and be dropped off at the typical location at the school. PTA volunteers will be at the church to walk with bused students to the school.
Councilmember R. Scott Phillips and Cedar City Firefighters will welcome students at the school. Students will receive a sticker, granola bar, and safety materials.
Please have your child join us for our Walk and Roll Morning!

Color Run tomorrow (Wed. Sept. 20)!
If you plan to come watch, you may stay outside the fence or enter through the school to watch on the field. Please check in the office if you come onto the field.
The run will start between 2:50 and 3:00. It usually goes pretty quickly, so plan to be there and ready before 3.
After the run please exit through the fence gate (on the North end of the field). PLEASE DO NOT EXIT THROUGH THE SCHOOL.
The PTA is excited and grateful to host this activity for our North students.

We are $295 dollars away from our school goal and are collecting donations through tomorrow. Please consider any last minute donations!
Please consider running for our school's Community Council. Council members help improve academic performance at our school. The school receives an annual dividend from the school trust lands. Our council decides how these funds will be used. Councils also act in an advisory capacity to school and school district administrations. You can download the form at https://5il.co/24n9x
Remember our school fundraiser ends Friday! We are $4475 away from our school fundraising goal. We need more teachers to wear tutus by their classes reaching their class goals. The program starts next week and there are still some spots available. Please go to https://www.bard.org/wonderstage/ to learn more and register your child.
Our Kinders had a great start to the school year! They learned our STAR rules and how to be a Polar Bear!
We will have our first fire drill practicing our "Evacuate" procedure. No one will be allowed to enter the building from 9:30-9:45. Thank you for understanding as we practice our safety procedures.
We are looking forward to having you back tomorrow at North! This is a reminder that all parent drop off is in the front from 8:30-8:55. We will have it set up similar to the afternoon. This year we have increased our supervison so staff will be supporting drop off as well as our leadership team. Please pull all the way forward and have your child exist on the right. You will not be allowed to move ahead of others in line. If you are parking please enter in the left lane.
Tomorrow we will have a photo booth available, music, and some cheering on as they enter. If you want to take part in this please make sure to accompany them to school to drop off instead of riding the bus. We will do the same for Kinder first day. Of course your child can still ride the bus. We will see all of our polar bears tomorrow
Tomorrow is our open house for grades 1-5th! Please join us to see your classroom, sign up for PTA, get help signing forms, and meet some of our after school programs. You can come between 9:30-11:30 and 12:30-2:30. See you then!
We had 80 students turn in their star tickets for showing awesome behaviors and earned pizza with the principal. Keep up the hard work!!
Have a great Spring Break! All schools and the district office are closed April 10-14.
