Get ready… Penny Wars is coming next week! This is one of our students’ favorite PTA fundraisers, and it’s a fun way for grades to work together while supporting our school.
Here’s how it works:
• Each grade has a coin jug located in the foyer.
• Students can earn points for their grade by adding pennies and dollar bills.
• Students can subtract points from other grades by adding silver coins (nickels, dimes, and quarters) to other grade jars.
• Donations can be made each morning before school.
Event Dates: February 23rd–26th (before school)
Location: School foyer
The prize: The grade with the most points will win a popsicle party, and Coach Sally will dye her hair the winning grade’s color! The winning grade will be announced on Friday, February 27th.
This is a great opportunity for students to participate, have fun, and contribute to our school community. Even small amounts add up quickly!
Please see the attached flyer for full details and point values.

Iron District: Due to overnight snow accumulation, current road conditions in some areas of the county and forecasts of snow continuing to fall throughout the morning, all schools in the Iron County School District will be closed for the entire day Friday, Feb. 20, 2026. A delayed start was considered, but with the shorter Friday schedule, the district is taking a more cautious approach to keep families safe. No afterschool programs will occur. However, some high school athletics may still be held. Please check with coaches. The safety of our families and staff are a top priority. Please stay safe & warm.
Apparel orders are open. To order, scan the QR code on the flyer.
