Families with students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, We are excited to bring back the science fair this school year. It does come with a learning curve and we would like to clarify a few items. Students can work individually or in a group. The page that is due is the one below. Please send it to your child's teacher. 5th graders have the opportunity to be judged and move on to advanced competition. If your child needs a poster board and cannot afford one or it is more convenient for you there are more in the office. If your child does not participate there is an alternate task during the presentations, but as a STEM school we hope you can support us. The project is due to their teacher by Jan 21st, as our Science fair is on the 22nd.

CVHS JR. FALCON’S BASKETBALL CLINICS CVHS Boys basketball program will be hosting their annual Saturday clinics run by their coaching staff and players. Our purpose in having these clinics is to create a fun environment where our future falcons can learn basketball fundamentals. Our annual Halloween Parade will be tomorrow from 1:30 till 2:30 (as long as it takes to walk the block). Parents are allowed to line up and wave to them on the sidewalks and it is encouraged. Students are to follow dress code policy. Masks will need to be removed during class. WE WILL ALLOW COSTUME PROPS DURING THE PARADE ONLY IF PARENTS BRING THEM IN BEFORE THE PARADE AND TAKE THEM HOME RIGHT AFTER. We are not responsible for lost or damaged costumes. Please remember that 600 W and 500 W will be blocked off by the fire department and you cannot park on the street prior to or during the parade to help support a safe parade route.

Make sure to join our STEM Harvest Festival tonight from 5 to 7. There will be fun STEM activities by the teachers. A Haunted hallway upstairs. Kona Ice will be out front for purchase. You can purchase a $3 dinner of a slice of pizza, a drink, and a pumpkin cookie.
