North Elementary Kindergarten Registration Wednesday April 2nd, 2025 12:30 - 3:00 pm
Children 5 years old on or before September 1, may register for kindergarten. All enrolling kindergarten students will need:
1. OFFICIAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE 2. ADDRESS VERIFICATION – Utility bill, mortgage statement, bank statement… 3. GUARDIAN I.D. – Drivers license, passport , state I.D. 4. IMMUNIZATION RECORD - 5-DTaP, 4-POLIO, 2-MMR, 2-HEPATITIS A, 3-HEPATITIS B, 2-VARICELLA (OR Doc. of CHICKENPOX DISEASE)

Grandparents are also welcome to visit the Book Fair. Visit before you eat to avoid the crowds at the fair.
SEP Week is next week February 3-7th. Monday through Thursday early out at 2:30. Friday early out at 1:30 regular time.

We are looking for people to fill 2 PTA board positions for next year (2025-2026 school year):
TREASURER:
Duties would include:
-going into the school for about 1 hour each week to write reimbursement checks, fill out forms, and input data into quickbooks.
-attend PTA meetings & present the monthly financial report
-count and take $ to the bank after events
-in charge of Penny Wars event
SECRETARY:
-Taking notes at PTA meetings/reading back the previous meetings notes at the beginning of each meeting
-sending out relevant information to parents

We need extra help this year due to Barb Lewis having knee replacement recently.
There are morning slots that need filled on Thursday for the time grandparents come for the Grandparent breakfast.
The Science Fair is tomorrow the 22nd! Set up is between 8:30-8:55. Please make sure to be prompt and on time. Any items brought in, need to fit in front of their board. Parents are NOT allowed to participate in the fair. Doors close at 9:00 for students and SUU judges only. Parents are more than welcome and invited to see their projects displayed at the SUU STEM Night at North Elementary on January 23rd from 6:00-8:00 pm. They will be displayed upstairs. Thank you so much for supporting them and we look forward to seeing you at STEM Night.
